A podcast identity with personality in every format.

Project
overview.

A playful visual system for a podcast, designed to stay recognisable at the scale of an app icon and expressive at poster size.

Spilt Milk identity across covers, posters and social graphics

01 / The question

What needed
exploring?

How can a podcast stand out in a crowded feed while carrying the same personality into its wider promotion?

02 / The approach

How I
worked.

I sketched variations of the name, the milk bottle and the spill motif. I refined the lettering and symbol for legibility at small scale, then developed a pink and blue palette that could flex across different assets.

03 / The outcome

What I
designed.

The work brings together logo explorations, podcast cover artwork, posters and social applications. Some settings shown are presentation mockups; the identity and artwork are the designed output.

A design decision, in context

From motif to identity.

Original brand board: lettering, motifs, palette and applications.

What informed it

My original brand board shows how I tested hand lettering, a milk bottle and spill shapes before choosing a compact identity for the podcast cover.

What the work shows

The board sets out a repeatable palette and motifs; the cover and tote show the visual system in two different settings. These are identity applications, with no audience response claimed.
