The question
Online shopping offers convenience while physical stores support discovery and trying things on. ONU explores how these strengths might work together without making the store feel transactional.

A hybrid retail concept connecting a physical changing room with digital shopping tools.
ONU reimagines shopping as a flexible journey between a store, a digitally enhanced fitting room and a companion app. I developed the concept independently as my BA major project.

The proposal spans four types of space: a full ONU hub, boutique brand partnerships, mixed independent and secondhand retail, and installations within existing high-street stores. A fitting room concept adds 3D avatars, interactive mirrors and personal settings for lighting, music and scent. The model portfolio details the layout of each retail format and avatar options for different body shapes, skin tones and styles.
The mobile concept includes wish lists, local stock browsing, style boards and a digital wardrobe. The portfolio shows a designed retail ecosystem and screens; the stores, integrations and technology are proposals, not launched services.
